Inside Sales
- Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, and online inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
- Drive business development through the use of lead generation software and proactive prospecting.
- Prepare and present detailed project proposals, quotes, and contracts to qualified clients.
- Maintain and update CRM software to track customer interactions, manage sales pipelines, and follow up on leads.
- Collaborate with internal teams (vendors, sales, and operations) to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
- Educate customers on the features, benefits, value engineering, and customization options of ROI Metal Buildings’ offerings.
Outside Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through fieldwork, networking, and direct outreach.
- Schedule and conduct on-site consultations to assess customer needs, measure spaces, and provide tailored solutions.
- Represent ROI Metal Buildings at trade shows, industry events, and community activities to promote the brand and generate leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, and other industry professionals.
- Gather and report customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in products and services.
Qualifications
- Experience: Required minimum of 2+ years in the pre-engineered metal building industry or metal building manufacturing support roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MBS or related metal building industry software, CRM tools (e.g., “Method”), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of metal building components, design processes, pricing structures, upsells, and PEMB optimization/engineering.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical details clearly.
- Project Management: Ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and client expectations for long-term building projects.
- Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with building codes, structural requirements, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Problem-Solving: Results-driven mindset with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a willingness to travel locally or regionally for client visits.
